Capital H&M

How I wish two of my favorite brands be brought here.

H&M was established in Västerås, Sweden in 1947 by Erling Persson. Now, they have some 2000+ stores around the world. I was first introduced to this brand in Japan. Their clothes and accessories are up-to-date and are affordable.

I saw one too when I was in Korea.

UNIQLO "A modern Japanese company who inspires the world to dress casual." Me not being fan of formal wear, how can I resist? They have perfectly fitted jeans, nice winter and regular type jackets, uniquely designed shirts and oddly colored polo shirts.

Being assigned for a year in Japan made me realize that I may be a Japanese in my former life.... Wearing nerdy glasses, a colorful shirt and skinny jeans....

nah! So...... when are you coming here to Manila?

"Spiral" is one of the few restaurants in Hotel Sofitel which is situated just a finger's length from the ManilaBay. Spacious interiors include a metal Spiral staircase accented with a Spiral centerpiece (thus the name) and a serene fountain which makes a quiet lunch more pleasurable. Exteriors blend beautifully with the Manila bay horizon.

Cost: Php 1392.00(original cost of buffet is around 2K). Bought this deal was from Cashcashpinoy.

The restaurant serves fusion of different cuisines and it boasts of different stations in which you can choose cooked food or have the food cooked right in front of you.

The selection includes different food stations, you can definitely leave your heart (or stomach) out. From pasta to desserts, from lobsters to hakao, from gummy worms to cakes, from Indian to Chinese cuisine, should I add more? You will feel like your taste buds will be transported on a gastronomic tour around different parts of the world.

We went there on a Philippine holiday (pasensha na nakalimutan ko kung ano) and we got sparkling wines and champagne (ohlala!) Definitely a "sulit-tipid" moment. . The waiters are courteous enough not to interfere with your "I have to taste all the champagne para sulit" attitude but definitely are there for you when you need an expert opinion of what each champagne will taste. I'm not a fan of champagne 'cause I'm a hard drinker (oooppsss) but I would definitely recommend that you go there on a holiday so that you will be able to fill-in those craving for those bubbly and sparkling thirst-quenchers.

There are other buffets which cause less but I think with the selection of food available in the Spiral, the cost is very much worth it. But if you are not budget-conscious, it's definitely worth a try, just remember to sit near the windows for a more relaxed ambience. =)

the damage

Had some boys night out in my pad yesterday 'til 4:30AM today and here's the damage! Konti pa no? hehe... the kwentuhan was worth it... and our topic... who else? the special one.  :D
